Name Mikail

Arabic (ميخائيل) form of the name Michael.

In the Qur'an Mikail along with Israfil, Djibril and Azrael is one of the four Islamic archangels. He is referred to as an angel, who gives food for creations of Allah. Also he known as an angel of mercy controls the winds and clouds.

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: "As for my two ministers from the inhabitants of the heavens, then they are Djibril and Mikail, and as for my two ministers from the inhabitants of the earth, then they are Abu Bakr and Umar".
