Arabic (عزرائيل) name of the Archangel of Death in Arabic and Hebrew extraBiblical traditions which actually means - "the one whom God (El) helps". Azrael is also the angel of death in Islamic theology, one of the four highest angels in Islam (Mikail, Israfil and Djibril). The name traditionally attributed to the angel of death in Islam and Sikhism, as well as some Hebrew lore. The Quran does not mention the name of Azrael and instead used Malaikat al-Maut, literally translated as - "the angel of death".
