In Hindu mythology Brahma is the creator and ruler of the world, the father of gods and men, in classic Hinduism it is a triad of supreme gods, along with Vishnu and Shiva. The creator of the universe, he is opposed to Vishnu, who saves her, and Shiva, who destroys it.
