St Remigius of Reims or Saint Remy (437 - January 13, 533) - Bishop of Reims, apostle of the Franks.
It is believed that he converted to Christianity salic francs, having baptized on 25 December 496 he baptised Clovis I, king of the Franks. This baptism, leading to the conversion of the entire Frankish people to Catholic Christianity, was a momentous success for the Church and a major event in European history.
