"Zhupar" is an ancient Turkic word, which were used to describe someone or something “wonderful, stunning, brilliant”. The word was first found on the neck of a musical instrument called the dombra, which had ancient Turkic runes, in a tomb the Zhargalant Khairkhan Mountains, Mongolia.
On the dombra, there is an inscription that reads: “župar küü čöre sebit idmis.”
Translation into modern Kazakh language: "Jupar kúı áýeni bizdi súıispenshilikke bóleıdi."
Translation: An absolutely stunning melody lures us into the arms of love.
