Shaitan (Qarur, Wasws, Hannas, Kafir, Saghir, Marid, Taif, Fatin, Malun, Mazum, Madhur, Makzu, Kafr, Hasul, Aduvv, Mudill, Marid) - in Islamic theology, jinn of evil spirits that is hostile to God and people.
According to the ayat of the Qur'an when Allah created the first man (Adam), he ordered to the all angels and jinn to worship him. They all obey his orders. But among them was a jinn named Iblis who refused to obey this order. He considered themselves superior to Adam by reason of the fact that he was created from fire, and Adam was maide of clay.
