Turkic (Kazakh name Аблайхан), formed by a combination of Ablai/Ablay - "the faithful servant (Abd) of Allah (Abdullah) under the moon (Ay)" + Khan - "ruler".
Ablai Khan (1711 - 1781) - one of the most famous Kazakh khans of the Middle Zhuz. He subjugated part of the senior Zhuz and some births of Kyrgyzstan.
